/ Mamma ErinFor a year that was exactly 365 days, 2021 felt long and fast … all at the same time! So what fun placed opened in the east last year? Here are the ones we road tested - both brand newbies or refurbished beauties.
Yarra Bank Reserve - not surprisingly - is located right on the banks of the Yarra River in Hawthorn and the playground features the largest and shiniest canoe in the east. Great nature play and musical elements.

Belgrave Lake now has a beautiful and new playspace for us all to enjoy. It is a wooden beauty that has some fantastic features that we haven’t yet seen anywhere else!
This awesome new accessible playground is the stuff little Princesses and Knights dreams are made of.
McAlpine Park is a beautiful spot to spend the afternoon with the family for a play in the playground, waddle around with the ducks and cut laps on the bikes and scooters. This reserve is immaculately kept with stunning gardens, and is filled with sprawling lawns for ball games and picnics and a BRAND NEW PLAYGROUND
Dragons are so cool, especially when they are GIANT! The is a NEW dragon in the outer east and it is MASSIVE.
