jells park east playground, wheelers hill
/We love it when the little old tired playgrounds get a brand new lease of life and the East Playground (yeah we approve of this name!) is a huge improvement to the space. This is a nature inspired playground which is a great option if you find the Yabbie Hill Playspace a little overwhelming.
You can see all spaces here easily, there a nice wooden features (including the blue lounge) and it is ideal for the preschooler age group. You’ll find swings, balancing bars, sand (which you will probably need to clean out of the car when you get home) and a junior slide.
If you enter the park from the Waverley Road entrance, you will find this playground to the left of the car park, half way up to the main visitors centre.
Mamma's special mention: Jells Park is huge! There are three playgrounds here, heaps of trails for bikes and scooters and plenty of open space for frisbee throwing and kick to kick. PLUS Madeline’s is here for when the hungry tummies growl.
