Tucked in beside the delicious Hahndorf Chocolates in Montrose, is a brand new creative studio - Arbor. Kath is a true artist and owner of this beautiful space, designed for creating and gathering with friends.
The program here offers a range of classes for all ages and the most popular are ceramics - in particular, the adorable wombats that Mamma and her two participated in over the school holidays.
With the patience of a saint, Kath will take you through step by step with her techniques to make these stumpy little buddies. With each wombat lovingly shaped and crafted by hand, you’ll end up with a unique family of marsupials. We will return once they have been fired and bring them home to set on our mantlepiece.
Kath offers a range of classes for school holidays, weekends and will begin after school sessions when school returns. You can make pots or paint cups, go freestyle with clay or make some cute friends. There is something very therapeutic about moving clay with your hands. You can hire the venue for parties and private events.
We can’t wait to see how our creations turn out.
