May we introduce you to our new favourite family game - PICKLEBALL!

This is a relatively new sport craze (it’s been around since the 60s but taken off since covid) that feels like a mixture of table tennis, regular old tennis and badminton. The ball is light and hollow, that bounces well. Paddles are also lighter than a tennis racket but bigger than a table tennis bat. All this makes pickleball a pretty easy game to pick up.

Level Up is our closest centre that hires out courts by the hour, as well as all the equipment you need. You don’t need to sign up for a membership, although that does give you discounted rates. Courts are all indoors and conveniently located behind Knox Ozone.

Mamma says grab a gang of kiddos and have a hit today. It’s a heap of fun so Mamma, make sure you wear your runners too!
