alexandra gardens, kew

Mamma wished her gardens looked this great. A particularly great effort considering they have been here for over 100 years! These magnificent gardens are the centrepiece of town and a magical oasis to the hustle and bustle of busy Kew Junction, just a stones throw away. The formal gardens and lawn sparkle in the sunshine and is a wonderful place for a wander with your family. There are lovely statues to spot and offer a cuddle with some hidden around the pond, so be sure to keep an eye out. Although there is no formal playground, there is a space of wooden friends that are pint sized and great for climbing and balancing. The gardens itself is not huge, but enough for a toddler get their stored energy out! Mamma's hot tip, autumn is a wonderful time to visit as the tree canopies are glowing.

Mamma's special mentions: Kew Library is right next door for an extra little adventure or head to the junction and grab a coffee!
