You might just say that Emerald has a thing about trains! They have the train park, Puffing Billy with the new visitor centre AND there is the most amazing model railway which is one of the largest with 1000m of track.
This teeny tiny world is simply amazing and has endless possibilities for playing I spy.
From the hot air balloon, the church wedding, a delayed Australia Post truck and a fairground up on the hill, you could spend plenty of time pointing out all the things you can see.
There is so much detail and love put into the miniature world. Watch the trains run over bridges and into tunnels throughout your visit. There are stools provided for the shortest members of the family so everyone is catered for as well as interactive buttons to push to see sections rock into life! Your kids will just love it.

Emerald Lake Road, Emerald
As you enter the park, take the road on the left as you see the Lake and head uphill over the tracks to the carpark.
Mamma's special mention: You might want to pay a visit to the big guy - Puffing Billy - while you are at the Lake, visit the visitor centre or you could head further downhill to the kiosk for a snack, a paddleboat or even a splash in the wading pool (provided it is a warm day!)
