Bruno's Art and Sculpture Garden is an absolute treasure in the heart of Marysville. The property is the home to Bruno's very own art collection interwoven into the magical garden beside the Steavenson River. Mamma really lost count of the number of eccentric and intricate sculptures made of everything from brass, clay, wood and random found materials.
What is even more amazing is this collection has been completely rebuilt. The Black Saturday fires of 2009 decimated Bruno's place with most of the sculptures, as well as the home itself. Photos throughout the garden show the damage and how devastating the damage was. But now - it is completely renewed. The garden is blooming and growing with full force alongside the amazing art pieces and into the pathways itself. Your kids will simply be delighted by the characters at every turn, the bridges to cross and all the hidden treasures.
The garden is open 7 days and the gallery opens on weekends as well. You will meet Bruno at the door and he will be thrilled to show and share with you some of his pieces.
Mamma's special mention: Marysville is a beautiful spot for a day trip and you HAVE to go explore the playground! One of Mamma's all time favourites!
