parks and playgrounds of boronia

Boronia has a bunch of playgrounds and here is Mamma’s handy guide that will help you find all of them!

Start your playground adventure at Tormore Playground. This one is a wonderful playspace overlooking the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. There’s slides, climbing frames, swings and rockers - even a basketball ring and work out equipment, making it great for a range of ages. This one is a handy playground to spend a longer play as there are toilets nearby and Leisureworks - the local indoor pool - is just down the road.

Next, Boronia Park is a hidden treasure that you’ll find alongside the Remote Control Car Club and behind the Boronia Library. It is a simple set up with a main climbing frame, a spinner and swings. Head here after story time at the library to get those extra wriggles out after sitting so nicely at the library.

Chandler Reserve Playground is another great playground that has a great combination of spaces for your little kids. There is a main climbing frame with two slides, a nice big bird nest swing, undercover picnic table, standard swings plus some creative stone work. We also love the netball courts and mini skate ramp that runs beside the main playground. This park is a great option for a play after you’ve seen a movie at Metro Cinema.

Lastly, the Boronia Play Park is the most recent addition to the playgrounds of Boronia. This is a sensory play space, filled with musical elements - bells, xylophone, rainbow bars and banging drums, as well as a pair of table tennis tables. Pop into the Police station next door and borrow a ball and paddles.
