outer circle linear park - jeep park, deepdene
/If Mamma has some things on the list that make a park great - it’s toilets and shade. If this guy had a list - a CAR would be at the top. Well, it is super lucky that Outer Circle Linear Park (let’s call it the Jeep Park) has all three.
This is a great playground that is fenced (and gated) from the main road and the bike track that runs alongside the park. It has things to climb, slide and swing on, as well as a huge green field nearby for your ball games. There is plenty of natural shade from the tree canopies and a picnic shelter, complete with table, bbq and benches.
Down further into the park there is a concreted terraced area which (according to Google) is the ‘Skate Spot’. Sounds like a perfect spot for the whole family can go for a play … or even a party!
Mamma’s special mention: The park is on Whitehorse Road and right over the road from Hip Kids and Town & Country. Mamma has also heard that Snow Pony which is just a little further down the hill, is the go-to for great coffee.
