eltham north adventure playground, eltham north
/*** With a heavy heart Mamma has to report this playground has been completely destroyed by fire in December 2018. We are all hoping the community and council can rebuild as soon as possible. ***
Calling all adventure buddies! This playground is for you! The Eltham North Adventure playground is an undercover superstar. Just a short walk from Edendale Farm is this brilliant space. A wooden masterpiece with walkways, tunnels, bouncing mats, slides and climbing walls. Great for all ages with easy climbing stairs and toddler friendly attractions. Built in 1995, this wool shed inspired playground is a great all rounder and even a good option for a rainy day. Imagine an awesome backyard cubby on bucket loads of red cordial! Bring along a BBQ or a packed lunch and enjoy while watching the bikes ding a ling on the Diamond Creek Trail, then go and explore the nooks and crannies even more. You might even pretend to be Old MacDonald on the tractor! Mamma is a massive fan of the entire playground including the nature play section, the boardwalks and the little animals on the paths.
Mamma's special mention: if you are loving adventure playgrounds, you must give Hays Paddock in Kew East a test drive!
