/Term Two Programs at Box Hill Community Arts Centre and Strathdon House are about to kick off and NOW is the time to book in the whole family for some creative classes.
There is a wide range of experiences available for all ages at the two Whitehorse venues. For your hands on creative types there are all kinds of mediums - from painting to mosaic, clay to mix medium classes. There are even some fitness and comedy classes on offer too.

Kids Clay Programs - Spend an enjoyable morning or afternoon each week over 8 weeks in the clay studio creating ceramic masterpieces. Learn basic hand-building techniques including shaping, squeezing, pushing, pulling, rolling, and pinching to express your creativity with your hands.
Arts Skills for Serious Young Artists - Refine drawing skills through observational techniques, including still life, and create pictures using a variety of artistic mediums over 8 weeks
Toon Time - Learn techniques for drawing your own cartoons. Focus on facial expressions and body language, character and story world design, comic page layout, pencilling, ink and colouring. Start your journey as a comic illustrator now!
Expression Through Art for Kids - Led by Holistic Creative Arts Therapist, Kerrie Jacobs, kids will enjoy this stress-free art class focusing on process and intuition. Each week will introduce a new technique and help unlock the creative spirit within.
Comic Art : Graphic Illustration - Develop your skills in illustration. Creating character designs and comics. Students will be encouraged to develop creative thinking and their own visual style.
