Wanna guess what is top of the menu at Toast? You got it! TOAST. Toasted sandwiches, jaffles, milkshakes, hot pies, coffee and some special pastries are what this teeny tiny cafe is serving up 7 days a week. But what is the real joy, is the service and passion that owners Tim and Michelle have for this place. They are passionate about creating a space for this community and what better way than with melted cheese and milkshakes. All the crew here are keen to chat to the kids and are super attentive. The cafe itself is pretty small, but there are bench window seats, a trolley full of books and spots to eat outside. Otherwise, the menu is perfect for a grab and go.
Mamma's special mention: The cafe is in a great location to start a Gnome hunt along the Koonung Creek Trail. The path is mostly flat from here to Slater Reserve and is a great way to burn off that extra milkshake energy!
