We can’t go past a good pub meal - and seeing that the Home Hotel in Launching Place has been given a new lease of life - we had to head for a Mamma road test!
This beautiful pub has been the key feature of Launch since the mid 1800s. It has poured millions of beers over the years and now, with new ownership, a great deal of paint, hard work with some love and attention, has been transformed into the most beautiful watering hole.
The hotel offers indoor and outdoor dining, with great family friendly meals. We love the rustic style chicken parma but Mamma is LOVING the lamb shoulder - cooked to perfection with the most amazing finishing sauce. Kids love the spaghetti and the classic fish and chips.
The outdoor area is super chill and has plenty of room to have a little run around while waiting for your meal. If you wish to dine indoors, do book ahead, especially for the weekends, as it is super popular.

Mamma's special mentions: The Home Hotel is right on the Warby Trail. If you time your family bike ride just right, you can stop for a drink and some lunch before you jump back on the trail.
