family adventures in boronia

Mamma loves exploring the local area with the kids and there are always lots of options of things to do with the WHOLE family. Besides the playgrounds and the delicious food, there are lots to experience in Boronia.

Grab the choc tops and popcorn - we are heading to the MOVIES! Metro Cinemas is a brilliant family owned and operated movie theatre. Prices are GREAT and it has everything you need - especially for taking the kids.

Dig out the remote control cars, replace the batteries (face it - they are always dead when you want to play with them) and head to the Boronia RCC Club. This track is open to the public - excluding club session times on Wednesdays and some race days. It’s awesome because there is heaps of space to practice your tricks with out the worry of being in the way of others.

Boronia is full of some amazing murals and public art work. Go exploring and find them all - Mamma’s list is here.

Borrow some books or head down to the library for story time at Boronia Library. This is a brilliant little library and a great place to have some quiet indoor time. There is also Miller’s Homestead nearby, another wonderful public space for stories and borrowing.

How about an active adventure? Knox Leisureworks is the place to go for a dip. The kids pool has a great layout and includes the coolest frog around!

Finally, for those mid-week toddler and preschool adventure days, check out the Play Hub Cafe. A mix of indoor and outdoor play for the kids to explore, while Mamma can have a breather with a coffee. So nice to have a welcoming space for the kiddos and able to get a meal all at the same time.

Mamma’s tour of Boronia is presented in partnership with Knox City Council as part of the Suburban Revitalisation Fund.
