redwood forest, east warburton

Once upon a time, not so long ago Mamma ventured into a magical forest. There she found red riding hood, a mini king and a cute chicken-child attempting to lay an egg in her nest....You can't help but be in awe of this majestic place. It’s a little surreal and Mamma swears you will feel like you have stepped into a fairytale. These kids have grown a little, but the forest still feels GIANT.

Over time elves or forest creatures have built large twig nests throughout the forest - these make awesome spots for photos. There are no facilities here, just space to run and exercise the imagination. Once you have explored the rows and rows of trees ensure you venture down hill, following the sound of water to the beautiful Cement Creek. The water is super CLEAR! Just beautiful.

You may need to explore this magical place by foot or a good sturdy pram if you must. Latest improvements to the forest have included new car parking, new bridge, but do still take care. If the carpark is full - try again another time. Warburton is a beautiful town to explore so head back and explore the River Walk. The carpark it is about a 1 km after the one lane bridge, along the dirt road.
