You can still find a classic, family friendly - and family run - cinema that has great priced tickets, old school service and ticks all the boxes for a movie day out with the fam. And it is right here in Boronia.
The Metro Cinemas is just like when you went to the movies as a kid. Follow the irresistible smell of popcorn up the stairs and purchase your tickets from the box office, then work out your snack combos. The deals are very budget friendly and pretty sure a small popcorn was $4.50! The team will give you a tub to carry everything (nothing worse than dropping a cup of popcorn before the movie begins!).
Once you have all you need, head to your session in one of the boutique sized cinemas. Ushers are on hand to assist finding your allocated seat, and will grab your snack tub for you - so handy! There are booster seats for the little ones, just help stack them back once you are done.
Sessions here on the holidays can be very popular, so Mamma suggests planning ahead and prebook your tickets online. Oh, did Mamma forget the best bit? Kids tickets are $10 and a family of 4 get in for $40. Bargain!
