Mamma just LOVES a toy library. The Knox Toy Library is run by a wonderful team of parents and play experts who are just super passionate about this incredible community resource. Here in Knoxfield, they have a dedicated building for their collection and everything is organised to the tee. From baby toys to puzzles, dress ups to construction, outdoor toys to book bags - there is something here for EVERYONE. Kids are welcome to help choose the items you want to borrow too and there is a great big backyard to explore.
There are so many benefits from joining an organisation like this too. Firstly, the savings you can make from being able to borrow these wonderful toys, instead of outright purchasing them all. Saves so many discarded toys from heading to landfill. You can return and borrow new ones, meaning the kids never get bored (not a promise … but frequent rotation of toys is key). It helps coming Christmas time, as you can suggest toys to the family of things your kids REALLY loved throughout the year. And lastly, the community connections with fellow parents that you can create while visiting and completing your duty sessions at the library.
