triangle park, the basin
/Where the round about sits and the firetrucks sleep, lies a wonderful place to play at the foothills of the ranges. The Basin Triangle playground is a magnificent space with plenty to entertain, including its own stage.
A teacher will always tell you that if there is more sand outside the pit than in it, the children are doing it right! That is certainly the case here and it is encouraged with sand scoops provided, letting little ones cover the upper decks of the equipment with the gritty gold and letting it fall through the pipes and spinning wheels.
There is more to explore up hill with a wooden fortress, climbing walls, spinning seats and birds nest swings. Don’t forget to visit the amazing butterfly that rests outside the loos.
Mamma’s special mentions: bring your bucket and spade to create your own sand village.
