Good news, fam! The redeveloped Stamford Park is now open, and it's got a brand spanking new playground that's ready for action!

If you’re after a new adventure, then the Stamford Park Adventure Playground is for you. It features a pirate ship for little mateys to set sail on, and a lookout tower perfect for spying on parents. Get ready to make some noise with the playable musical elements too, including bells to stomp on, a huge xylophone to chime, and drums.

There are also cute animal sculptures hiding around the play space, so see how many you can find. The swing section includes the regulars, plus a nest and hammock swing perfect for little pirates who want to sail some choppy seas.

There are a few handy picnic tables in the heart of the playground, including a kidsized table for the tiny tots.

Beyond the playground, there's a newly developed wetlands area that’s great for a leisurely stroll or bike ride. Enjoy the walking and cycling paths around the lake, viewing decks, and another lookout tower (minus the Connect Four on this one).

The redevelopment focused on environmental conservation, with a special nod to the local Rowville platypus colony. While Mamma didn't spot any platypuses on her walk this time, the wetlands area includes a specially designed habitat for these elusive natives, so keep your eyes peeled and you might just get lucky!
