The Gembrook Leisure Park has received a well deserved make over. The old wooden beauty had seen better days and it has now been replaced with a great new playground that the whole family can enjoy.
The park layout is awesome with a bunch of swings, a very popular flying fox, a GIANT climbing pyramid, a large play structure with three towers and slides in each, a trampoline and a wheelchair accessible merry-go-round. The active zone and skate park have had a refresh too - this will prove to popular after Christmas.
There are a few familiar features. The iconic red train remains, as well as the wooden men who used to mark the entrances. These now create a barrier to the carpark, along with the alphabet poles. Mamma loves that some of the classics have stayed and makes it feel just like home.
Mamma's special mention: Time for lunch after this play? Head up the road to Spencer's Store or The Independent for something yummy! OR if you save your play date for 4th Sunday of the month, the Gembrook Market runs from 9am - 2pm right next door.
