Mamma loves the old faithful. The park in your town that has a little bit for everyone, is close to the shops and has toilets nearby. Case in point - Mount Evelyn Skate Park and Playground. This classic playground is still pretty fresh after 5 years. There is a great central climbing structure, lots of balancing challenges and the best sea-saw around.
Nature play is balanced with some awesome logs and rocks to have a picnic before your play and the playground is right next to the skate park. Top level is nice a flat, with some spots for tricks and then down the hill a little, the more advanced zone. There is more asphalt available for ball sports under the basketball and netball rings.
The latest addition to this space is the Pump Track. This bumpy dirt track is designed for young bmx riders and connects directly to the Warby Trail. This opened on December 2018.
Mamma's special mention: The Warby Trail runs alongside the park, which makes the playground a great reward at the top of the hill if you park and ride up from Old Gippsland Road.
