/The farm yard is BACK!
Morrison Reserve has the most stunning views of the Yarra Valley and the ‘cattle yard’ gives you the best vantage spot. This reimagined version of the original play space has seen the layout of the space changed, but the old favourites still remain. We can still see the tractor, the windmill and barn - a picnic shelter complete with fireplace - and the green and purple equipment. That’s the vintage 90s style junior play area that the kids seem to love the most.
There are some other farm yard features, including the rocking horses, footprints in the concrete, plus plenty of new things to keep it interesting. There’s the double flying fox, a basket swing, slides and climbing ropes.
An important change to note is the parking. You need to access the playground from the kindergarten car park at the top of the hill on Old Hereford Road and follow the windy path down to the equipment. The original mini car park is now a dedicated disabled spot, right next to the NEW toilets (which did have a sign to let us know they aren’t working as yet - shoot Mamma a message if you see them up and running!). There are some silver linings to the changes!

Mamma’s special mentions:
Need a sweet treat while at the playground? Drop into the Red Robin Milkbar. The coolest lollyshop this side of the mountain.
