luke polkinghorn memorial reserve, mooroolbark
/The fences are down and the playground is ready and waiting for your little ones!
Luke Polkinghorne Reserve in Mooroolbark has had a massive facelift and it looks fantastic. Walk along the bridge and you’ll notice the theme is very much timber and rope. The main attraction is a massive timber structure with plenty of rope ladders and even a rock climbing wall to reach the top, with options of an enclosed slide or firemans pole to slide back down.
Attached are some monkey bars, a tightrope and a smaller slide. Scattered around the playground is also a seesaw, swings, a spinning cone and all sorts of timber logs and poles to step, climb or sit on.There is a sealed path around the play equipment perfect for some practice on the bike or scooter. Be sure to pack some sunscreen and hats as there’s not much shade.
the nitty gritty
