Kimberly Place is becoming a real ACTIVE zone. For the kids, the dogs and the whole family. The playground is looking spick and span with a shiny new slide, a cool birds nest swing, a quadruple swing and heaps of natural stepping blocks, stones and logs to travel over. There is a huge sandpit plus a netball court has been added with outdoor seating along the side - pack the buckets and spade, the balls and even the bikes. There are gravel tracks all through the reserve, around the footy fields and heading further back into the wetlands. Two other upgrades are in place and open for business - fitness stations for body weight exercise and the fenced Dog Agility Park. Told you - the whole family can enjoy this space.
Mamma's special mention: Toilets can be an issue. Luckily, if you are visiting when the community centre is open, you can drop in there if need be.
