Mamma is thrilled that this little treasure has been given a makeover. Chasta Cresent Playground (which is opposite Simpson Park) in Mitcham was a classic 90s playground but has been given a new lease of life, but the best part remains - the gate! The playground is fully enclosed - with a gate (which helps, as it is in the middle of an off leash dog park) and is great for littlies and your ‘runners’. There are two playing structures, one for the toddlers and one for bigger kids with some great climbing challenges. Add in a pair of swings, a birds nest swing, a spinny thingo and a cubby house (that is big enough for an adult to join in on the fun), you have a winning street park!
Mamma's special mention: Coffee stop? Head to the Rangeview shops and visit Mylk Bar or Two Brothers.
