It’s a double park - that means two big thumbs up! Canterbury Sports Ground boasts not one, but two wonderful playgrounds ready for the entire family to enjoy.
First to discuss is the toddler playground. Greatly accessible for crawlers and beginner walkers, complete with a friendly rocking duck and cute bridge crossing. Mamma also loves the cash register at the shop counter, as well as the shade cloth installed overhead.
The bigger kids are well catered for as well, just over the foot path with their own tree house play structure, a rocky cave zone, double slide and a bunch of swings.
Mamma loves finding a park that looks after all of the kiddos with plenty of green open space on the oval next door to practice the cartwheels and kick a ball around. Looking forward to the canopy of leaves to return and shade the playground too.
Mamma’s special mentions: Canterbury is a beautiful spot to enjoy and Mailing Road is not too far away. You can stop here at Chicken or The Egg for a great coffee or two!
