When simple is all you need - the street park is your go to spot. ESPECIALLY when there is a cafe next door to grab a takeaway in between pushes on the swings. Bowen Gardens Playground is a double park - one section more for the toddlers and the other for the bigger ones. It has all that you need for a mid morning or afternoon park stop. A friendly wobbly wombat. Plenty of slides. Monkey bars. Plus plenty of open green space for kicking the footy or just testing the acrobatic skills on the grass.
