Barkly Gardens is one of those great community parks that's perfect for the whole family. The park has walking/bike tracks and a great spot where dogs are allowed off the lead. There are two playgrounds, one for the younger kids and another for the older ones. The playground section for the smaller kids boasts a chain-climbing wall, a spiral ladder as well as a mini slide and fireman’s pole. Mamma's crew enjoyed the playground for older kids. It has a spiral slide and ladder, the flying fox as well as monkey bars. Barkly Gardens is a great place to relax. The park has FREE BBQ facilities making this ideal for family picnics and hanging out with friends.

Mamma's special mention: Not far down the road is Serotonin Eatery. The cafe with the swings that is bound to make you smile!
