If you are in Mount Waverley and in need of a coffee or feed, keep this hidden gem in mind. Walk past the mirrored shopfront windows and through the dimly lit hallway, to the little sun soaked cafe - Trei.
Inside, you will find two dining rooms with plenty of tables and a small courtyard out the back - perfect for small 18 month old legs that refuse to stay still.
Whilst Trei are in the process of finalising their kids menu, many of the current staples are available in a half serve at request… perfect for little fingers and tummies. This mamma’s 4 year old made quick work of her bacon and eggs while french toast and the smoked salmon benedict were on the menu for the grown ups.
Mamma says, don’t fill up on mains! The baked treats at the front counter are worth saving some room for.
