Every little town needs a place to catch up with friends, share a meal with the family and grab a drink. Gembrook has a new one. Check out The Local. This casual dining venue is your classic pub grub and is great for your little fam. There is a great kids menu and Mamma’s kids had a lovely introduction to a chicken parma (or chicken in pyjamas!). Service is fast and friendly, plus the kids are free to explore the games shelf as they please. The space itself isn’t huge and they don’t take bookings, but everyone is more than welcome. The inside tip, get in before the train arrives so you can get a seat!
Mamma's special mention: The owners of The Local are no strangers to Gembrook and also run The Station House over the road. If you are after pizza - that is the place to go!
