Hidden treasures are a Mamma favourite. The Laneway in Healesville would be hidden - except for the giant skull signage pointing you in the direction of this super cool eatery.
Run by the heart and minds of Mocha and Lime, The Laneway is a South and North American inspired cafe serving delicious breakfasts, lunches and on Friday and Saturday nights - dinner! Mamma digs the burrito bowls and frozen Magarittas, while the kids tucked in on the giant serves of kids chicken and chips. The vibe is nice and laid back with a number of spaces to stretch out and dine with the family.
The Laneway is also home to Alchemy Distillers (and the cafe sells their delicious gin and vodka varieties) and the Yarra Valley Honey Company. It’s a nice little nook of Healesville.

Mamma's special mentions: A trip to Healesville without stopping at Queens Park, is not really a trip at all! The playground is excellent, but also bring the scooters or bikes and check out the custom kids track.
