the hub play cafe, boronia
/The Hub Play Cafe in Boronia is just perfect for Melbourne weather.
There is an amazing outdoor play area that boasts a sandpit and a wooden fire truck that fits both Mamma’s little ones!
There’s also a climbing structure with a slide and tic tac toe.
Mamma’s 3 year old played fire fighter while her 1 year old did some climbing and played in the sandpit.
If the weather turns bad, never fear Melburnian Mamma's, The Play Hub Cafe also has toys inside.
There is a special area dedicated to the little ones, filled with soft toys, books, a train set, prams, dinosaurs and lots of other toys.
Every time we come here, Mamma feels relaxed knowing that her kids will play happily with both an indoors and outdoors area to keep them entertained. There is plenty of seating, including shaded seating outside and some cosy couches with blankets inside. You can keep a watchful eye on your little ones from most tables.
The staff here are lovely, as are all the other Mamma’s who are always willing to share a table and have a chat.
You’ll find a small seasonal menu and a specials board with some light meals offered. The Play Hub Cafe takes pride in using fresh produce from their Community Garden in Bayswater.
If you are planning on going with your Mamma tribe, then get in touch with them beforehand and they will happily reserve a table for you.
Mamma's special mention:
Miller's Homestead s just around the corner and definitely worth a visit on your way home
