the carriage cafe, seville
/The Carriage Cafe is exactly what the name suggests - a cafe in a 100 year old carriage situated alongside the Warburton rail trail, paying great respect to the history of the area. Choose your seat in the dining carriage or sit on the balcony and watch the trail buzz on by.
The cafe is a favourite of many who frequent the trail and it is not uncommon to have a line up of bikes or prams at the gate. You might even see a dog and maybe even a horse tethered outside. There is a great grassed area outside (may be closed if muddy) and alfresco seating. Ideal for kids to play while you down your cuppa or enjoy your lunch. Oh, and the kids menu is a bargain and sandwiches are train shaped!
PLEASE NOTE: There is no on site parking - You will need to walk up the trail from the old Seville Train Station or in designated areas. It is an easy 5 minute walk (depending on your zig zagging toddler) so be prepared or pack the pram! Look out for the flags.

Mamma’s special mentions: pack the bikes and head towards Killara station for a nice easy ride along the Warburton Trail. Challenge them to see how many horses or cows they can count on the way!
