You simply can’t miss this stunning new cellar door and restaurant from Hubert Estate. It’s one of the first wineries you travel past as you head along Maroondah Highway and into the Yarra Valley. The shape of it alone is breathtaking with the cellar door being built into the hillside - which also makes it a perfect spot for the kids to roll down!
The restaurant on site is named Quarters and is an ideal spot for a family meal. For those intimidated by wineries with the fine dining style, this place is for you. The venue is beautiful but relaxed, with plenty of room for larger groups. There are a bunch of options for food choices too, including a brilliant kids menu with a great variety beyond nuggets and chips PLUS there is a super cool soft serve that is perfect for dessert! For the adults, you really can’t go wrong with a wood fired pizza, but the local sprouts from the Adam’s Farm get a big thumbs up from Mamma as well!
For those visiting without the kiddos, be sure to go under ground and stop for a wine tasting. The view is stunning here and you can also head down even further below and explore the gallery space.
But if you are bringing the family, you’ll love setting yourself up outside under an umbrella while the kiddos have a ball running up and down that hill!
