It’s Matilda… just a little bit smaller! Petite is the sister version of our favourite lady, Matilda Mont Albert. Same yummy coffee, incredible food - even the same crew - but this version is all about the ‘to-go’. Takeaways are the name of the game on this side of the Arcade, allowing the dine in crowd to have all the space to feast at the tables.
But just because it is takeaway, doesn’t mean you HAVE to disappear. The team here provide outdoor picnic rugs for you to spread out and enjoy the toasties, bagels, croissants, cakes and coffees under the beautiful trees in this community space. Mamma loves the mushroom toastie but next time… we are saving room just for the cakes! Oh and take note of the closing time - 5:30pm on weeknights. Just when you thought you couldn’t make a coffee/play date after school… Petite stays open late.

Mamma’s special mention: This is a hidden gem (literally there is a sign missing for Access Road from Rostrevor Parade), so take care to follow the GPS directions. For a great park nearby, head in the direction of Box Hill to get to Mont Albert North Reserve.
