Micawber Tavern is certainly a family friendly pub treasure found on the cusp of the forest in the Dandenong Ranges. This beautiful wooden building is a wonderful watering hole that caters for the entire family - and speaking of water - it is complete with it’s own stream - The Clematis Creek - flowing in the back yard! The kids will love playing out here!
The food here is fabulous and the full sized portions will mean no one will go hungry. You really can’t go past a classic pub parma with a ice cold brew while enjoying the dappled sunlight that is so well loved in the hills.
The indoors has been renovated and continues to maintain that classic English pub feel, with little nooks to find a seat in and the quintessential stained glass lighting throughout. We are looking forward to a warm pub meal fireside in the cooler months.
