Hey Easties - there is an enormous brewery to enjoy in Healesville, and it is a real treat. Matilda Bay is a giant brewpub and the vibe is so relaxed and welcoming - your whole family will feel at home. It is a working brewery, so expect to be immersed in the sweet scent of the brewing process, as well as being able to watch the brewers at work.
The menu is casual - pizzas, burgers and bar snacks - and perfect grub to be followed by the brewery fresh ales. You have to try the range fresh from the tap and the tasting paddle is always Mamma’s go to. The Redback was the fave. The space has a full retail fridge too, including the Pub Beer - these are crowler cans poured direct from the tap.
Matilda Bay has plenty of space, both inside and out - this Mamma’s great go-to family hangout.
Mamma's special mention: Healesville has Mamma’s favourite beginners bike track and brilliant playground at Queens Park, both within walking distance from the brewery. Pack the scooters and make a full day of it.
