Hold the front door - this has to be some of the most delicious ice cream that this Mamma has EVER had! Mastika is the newest ice cream shop on the block and you are going to LOVE this jungle inspired shop.
Dani, the owner and local mamma, decided that after a year of lockdown, she needed a change - voila - you have Mastika! There are dozens of flavours that will move through rotation as the customers and on site ice cream aficionados discover what hits the spot … but Mamma can tell you, so far, all four that we sampled, were absolutely delicious. Rosewater has to be our highlight, closely followed by the strawberry gelato that this little man happened to devour.
Purchase by the cup, the cone OR load up a take home container and enjoy on the couch! For something a little different, there are milk shakes and thick shakes too. The nut based flavours are kept separated from the other flavours which is super thoughtful and word on the street … there will be dog friendly flavours coming next!
Mamma's special mention: Fun adventures in the east must be paired with a playground. Have you seen the slide at Quambee Reserve? A nice match after an ice cream treat!
