hordern road lights, mount evelyn

Hordern Road … you are amazing! At this time of year in Mount Evelyn, this street sparkles with Christmas JOY. In particular, the two houses on the southern end of the street. You can’t miss them. Both homes are beautifully decorated with lights and front yards are filled with inflatables. This is always an added bonus as your little ones don’t have to wait up TOO late to join in on the action. The reindeer is Mamma’s favourite, however, the six year old prefers Santa peeping out of the dunny door!
The lights here turn on at 7pm and on Friday and Saturday nights the sidewalk fills with snow! Please bring your coins to add to the donation box out the front. The families are raising money for Red Nose Australia, all in loving memory of their daughter.
We visited on a Friday evening and this spot is super popular - and rightly so - and The Whippy Van also joined in on the action. Do take care if parking on Hordern Road - it is best to park further away and walk to the main homes (there are lights on the way!). The car park at The Trail Cafe is where we recommend.
Mamma's special mention: We LOVE this time of year. For more lights in the east, click here.
