It is hard to go past stopping for a play when there is a cafe right next door. Teamed with a walking trails, bike paths, a nursery to pick up supplies for the weekend, this little hub always seems to be buzzing with activity. The playspace here is small but mighty. Great sandpit with digger. Twin slides. Sweet climbing pyramid structure and a sweeping platypus keeping watch over everything. You might not be spending hours at this one - but the park bench under the beautiful blossom is the perfect spot to down a coffee and watch the kiddie winks play! There is space for some water to flow over a dry creek bed, but if you are in the area for bush adventure, best follow the Mullum Mullum trail over Warrandyte Road and uncover Currawong Bush Park.
Mamma's special mention: The name, Manna Gum - comes from the eucalyptus that line the nearby Mullum Mullum Creek.
